In flamenco, posture and rhythm are important elements. The style comes from the south of Spain and has a very varied way of expression, from seriousness to joy. The lessons include choreography, foot technique, arm and hand exercises, palmas and sometimes we play castanets. The flamenco lessons also include Sevillanas, a folk dance from Seville. It has four parts and is danced by young and old alike at traditional annual festivals/markets in Andalusia.
