iRÅ! gathers moments in women’s lives in a constant investigation of the meeting between the voice and the percussive dance. The artistic duo Anna Fält & Pia “del Norte” Pohjakallio met in a sounding improvisation for the Swedish national radio in 2013, something that became the starting point for iRÅ!. The performance has since then toured Sweden, Finland, and the British Isles as a stage version as well as on specific sites, concert stages and even on a packing dock. Anna is a voice-acrobat with a stage presence like few, Pia a flamenco schooled dancer, one of the most engaged in the northern parts of Europe.
