The Spanish flamenco singer Sara Holgado plus several artists from the successful concept Women’s Tablao are guests of the season’s first and only Tablao Flamenco Malmö. Don’t miss these strong ‘flamencas’ at Vibliotek: Malmö’s Spanish wine & tapas restaurant which celebrates its 8th anniversary this week.

Sara Holgado – from Seville, Andalusia, is a singer who has established herself internationally, not least in Scandinavia as a frequent guest in Oslo and Stockholm. Combining international festivals with intimate Tablao performances in Spain, Holgado is a solo artist who fully masters the art of singing to dance.

Pia del Norte – is one of Scandinavia’s foremost flamenco dancers and artistic director of Flamenco Friday in Stockholm. Del Norte meets and captivates the audience with his dance improvisations like no other.

Afra Rubino – complete flamenco guitarist from Gothenburg with international recognition. Educated in Spain, Rubino is inspired by approaching flamenco from an Atlantic perspective, focusing on flamenco’s African and Latin American roots.

Tablao Flamenco Malmö’s artistic director and host couple on stage are, as usual, flamenco dancer Jossette Reilly and percussionist Stephan Jarl. A warm welcome to a rhythmic party in an intimate restaurant environment, just like in Andalusia.

The event is carried out with support from the City of Malmö and in collaboration with World Session and Flamenco Friday.
