Emil Pernblad is a guitarist who has played with almost everyone in the flamenco scene in our northern latitudes – and in the south as well! Now, he will give us a taste of something he has NEVER done before: a solo project! The solo project will premiere about a month later in Sörmland, but here we get an exclusive preview!

Sofia Castro is a flamenco dancer, active choreographer, and performing artist leading various projects. With her solid training and many years of experience, she has brought classical flamenco closer to the contemporary art scene, exploring existential questions from an artistic perspective in both large and small productions, often in collaboration with artists from different disciplines.

In the tablao set, we will also get to enjoy Emil’s longtime singing collaborator, Marianne Holmboe. Deeply rooted in the Arabic music tradition, she also has an extensive education in flamenco singing. Her musical curiosity has led her to explore South African, Romani, and Sephardic musical traditions as well. In her own words, she sings “the music that sets my soul in motion.”
