On the yearly summer course on the island of Öland you have the chance to dive in to an introduction to flamenco as an artform, it’s history as well as learning basic steps and palmas, clapping. We’ll also make a choreography to gather our knowledge in during the week! This can be your first meeting with flamenco or a broadening of knowledge to you with experience. We divide some of the classes in two groups where the people new to flamenco will get to train extra on the basics whereas the more experienced dancers will have the possibility to polish you precision and technique. Flamenco is danced by man, woman, young, old, and its strong physical expression is often experienced as strengthening and beneficial for the wellbeing.

The summer courses are released in December 2022 and often fill up very fast!
