Marja’s weekly classes consist of technique and choreography. The aim is to increase consciousness in the movement, to sharpen every dancer’s unique expression and to release the musician in a dancer. The dialogue between musicians and dancers plays an important role in the classes. A performance will be made during the classes to the spring show of Centro de Baile Helsinki. There will be accompaniment once a month during the semester.
The intermediate level is for dancers who know well the basics of flamenco dance and want to strengthen their dance technique and holistic bodily expression.
The advanced level is for experienced dancers who want to challenge themselves in terms of technique, musicality, and holistic bodily expression.
