Finally, it’s Zambomba! A flamenco zambomba is a Christmas celebration in flamenco style, where flamenco pieces mingle with villancicos, Spanish Christmas songs that we fully flamencofy!

Expect a surprise or two, and you might even see and hear a zambomba (the instrument in the picture), the one that gives the evening its name…!
This year, we are honored to host Cultura en Español – a choir based in Stockholm that sings in Spanish! With enthusiasm and passion, under the leadership of Gabriel Lezcano, they spread joy and create unique experiences for the audience. As the cherry on top, dancer Souzana Volioti will also join us, who has previously collaborated with the Cultura en Español choir and adds to the evening’s Christmas magic!
Two zambomba experts will also be present: singer Yota Baron, who has previously appeared at FlamencoFredag with the performance Andamosis, and Olle Pelayo Lind, a semifinalist in the iconic flamenco competition Cante de las Minas 2024 and one of the few in the Nordic region who builds the zambomba instrument!
